Presentation
Médecins Solidarité Lille (MSL) is a non‑profit medical association governed by the French 1901 law. Its mission is to provide care to anyone facing administrative or financial barriers to healthcare access, mobilise all available means to support their integration or reintegration into the mainstream healthcare system, and to bear witness to systemic shortcomings.
Context and challenges
Healthcare professionals working with MSL (both volunteers and staff) welcome on a daily basis people living in situations of extreme precarity.
The organisation needs to rethink its reception and interaction spaces in order to encourage engagement with care pathways, support sustained involvement over time and create a dedicated space for health education and prevention.
Partnership with the APRIL Foundation
The APRIL Foundation supports this project through a combination of expertise and financial support, making it possible to:
• Carry out a detailed diagnostic of behaviours to be addressed, as well as the barriers and levers to activate;
• Imagine scare-design spatial solutions and fund their implementations;
• Evaluate relevance and the outcomes of the intervention
Financial support granted
€75,000
