The APRIL Foundation is always keen to hear from project leaders seeking to develop initiatives that combine behavioural sciences and health prevention.

At the APRIL Foundation, we believe that lasting impact emerges from the combination of field-based engagement and scientific rigour. That is why every project we support goes through a thorough selection process, based on dialogue, expertise and co-construction.

Rather than relying on a standardised call for projects, we favour a collaborative approach. Project leaders engage in discussions with our teams and experts to challenge their ideas, refine their approach and ensure genuine behavioural relevance. This analysis phase makes it possible to confirm alignment with the behavioural sciences, which are at the heart of our mission, and to ensure a solid project structure.

We are looking for initiatives that demonstrate:

A clear scientific framework, supported by data, testable hypotheses and rigorous methods;

An openness to experimentation and learning, with a willingness to share results, successes and lessons learned;

A spirit of contribution, in order to inspire other stakeholders and fostering a collective drive for progress.

Our support

Whatever stage your project is at, the APRIL Foundation can offer a range of services, including tailored support, expert guidance and financial support throughout the project lifecycle:

➔ Support with targeting and needs assessment;

➔ Co-design of interventions or improvement of existing prevention initiatives;

➔ Testing of solutions;

➔ Scaling up;

➔ Evaluation.

Our support goes beyond financial assistance alone. It is part of an active partnership approach, through which the Foundation contributes its methodology, critical insight and expertise to help projects grow and maximise their impact. In return, partners commit to sharing their feedback, evaluation work and results publicly, in order to inspire others and enable the replication of successful initiatives.
