The exhibition

POV: it’s my health

The APRIL Foundation has created an interactive, travelling exhibition, which it lends free of charge to associations and public‑interest organisations.

In 2023–2024, the APRIL Foundation explored young people’s relationship with health through a threefold study: a quantitative survey involving 2,000 young people, a qualitative study in the form of interviews with 20 young people from diverse backgrounds, and a digital ethnography.

Building on the insights gained from this work, the APRIL Foundation developed the exhibition “POV: It’s my health”, with the aim of providing professionnals in the field with a comprehensive tool to help strengthen health literacy among young people.

An exhibition addressing key health challenges

The exhibition explores the major issues shaping young people’s health today: sleep, nutrition, addictions, sexual health, sedentary lifestyles, social media and the internet, and mental health.
Presented through both risks and solutions, the exhibition encourages each visitor to reflect on their own behaviours and to commit to positive change.

The exhibition is accompanied by:

  • a take‑away leaflet for visitors, “The exhibition in your pocket”;
  • a mediation toolkit for host organisations, enabling them to run themed workshops.

The exhibition includes

Four double-sided panels on each health topic

An introductory module

An expression wall

Information on health resources available to young people

Testimony

A comprehensive exhibition that addresses a wide range of youth health topics, with clear explanations and key figures. It is an excellent tool for opening up dialogue with young people, supporting awareness‑raising and behavioural change. The materials provided at the end of the exhibition help retain key messages and revisit them over time.”
