Our organisation
The APRIL Foundation is a corporate foundation established for an initial five-year period and endowed with a budget of €3.025M for the duration of that term.
The founding members are the constituent companies that together make up the APRIL Group (APRIL, APRIL Santé Prévoyance, APRIL Partenaires, APRIL Moto, APRIL Marine, APRIL Entreprise, APRIL Entreprise Caraïbes, APRIL International, APRIL Mon Assurance and Magnacarta).
The Board of Directors comprises 12 members: Eight members representing the constituent companies, and four external members selected on the basis of their expertise.
Among its other responsibilities, the Board of Directors is charged with establishing the Foundation’s policies and general direction, drawing up action plans, signing off on annual accounts, approving the annual budget and overseeing its implementation, and making any necessary changes to the Foundation’s statutes, internal regulations etc.

The Science and Ethics Committee
The Science and Ethics Committee comprises four suitably qualified members of the Board of Directors and two external experts.
The Committee guarantees the scientific quality of the Foundation’s studies, research work, publications and actions, working to identify any ethical issues and develop appropriate responses.

The Executive Committee
The Executive Committee comprises the Chair of the Board of Directors, along with a Secretary General and a Treasurer, the latter two selected from among the members of the Board of Directors.
